This action was taken at the Nebraska State AFL-CIO Committee On Political Education (COPE) Convention held March 26, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Nebraska State AFL-CIO is a state-wide labor organization representing 23,000 members comprised of 115 local unions and state-wide councils. The principal officers consist of a President/Secretary-Treasurer • Susan L. Martin; 20 Executive Board members and three Trustees who supervise the activities of the organization between conventions.
These endorsements were made with the participation and involvement of Nebraska State AFL-CIO affiliated labor unions across the State of Nebraska. President/Secretary-Treasurer Martin stated, "We feel these candidates will be supportive of labor and working families. We hope that working people will consider this when voting in the primary election."
